Positive Affirmations for Maintaining a Healthy Weight

Many people can be self-conscious about their weight and struggle to lose weight. While the relationship we have with food is part of the equation, it also comes down to our self-esteem and the kind of thoughts we tell ourselves. Positive affirmations can help with replacing some of those negative thoughts and beliefs we have about our bodies and food. By affirming positive affirmations on a regular basis, little by little, gradual shifts can be made.

It all starts in our mind, so by reprogramming your subconscious and conscious minds, positive results can take place. The key when listening or affirming positive affirmations is consistency. The more often you practice them the better the results. You may find subtle changes in the foods you desire and crave, and may buy more fruits and vegetables at the supermarket. You may feel inspired to exercise more often, or join a class or gym.

The best advice I can recommend is to make gradual changes to your diet and exercise routines. I'd recommend listening to these positive affirmations at least a couple of times a week. It has taken time to get you were you are today, and therefore can take some time and work to make positive changes. The key is to be consistent in your desire to make changes and act on these thoughts when they arise.
